Jal Hai Toh Kal Hai – 2200+ Reached Under National Water Mission Awareness Campaign
From 1st March to 22nd March 2021, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) actively participated in the National Water Mission’s “Catch the Rain” campaign with the powerful message:“Catch the rain, where it falls, when it falls.” This month-long awareness drive aimed to educate and engage the community on water conservation, rainwater harvesting, and the importance of protecting our water resources. Outreach Locations: YSS volunteers conducted impactful sessions at: Jal Shapath – A Pledge for Every Drop Over 2200 individuals took the “Jal Shapath” (Water Pledge), promising to: The Jal Shapath ceremony was a powerful moment of unity, responsibility, and hope. From students to senior citizens, everyone pledged to be a “Water Warrior”. Community Response “Pehli baar samjha ki barish ka paani zameen ke neeche jaane dena bhi ek seva hai… humne shapath li hai, isey nibhaayenge,” shared a kirtan mandali member in Vani Vihar.
