Inspiring Young Minds: Drawing Competition on Martyrs’ Day 25 March, 2023 To honor the supreme sacrifices of our brave heroes — Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar — Yash Sewa Samiti organized a heartfelt Drawing Competition on the eve of Martyrs’ Day. The event aimed to instill patriotism, creativity, and awareness among young minds through the medium of art. Children enthusiastically participated, expressing their thoughts and emotions through colorful drawings depicting: Each artwork reflected the imagination and respect that the younger generation holds for our martyrs. Support from Volunteers & Students The event was successfully conducted with the support of volunteers from Amity College along with students from the Tuition Centre. Their involvement ensured smooth coordination, encouragement for participants, and a joyful learning environment. Recognition & Encouragement Participants were appreciated and awarded for their efforts, boosting their confidence and motivating them to continue exploring their creativity. Empowering Women Through Opportunities: Adharshila SHG’s Journey from January to March 2023

Empowerment becomes meaningful when opportunities meet determination. Over the first quarter of the year, Adharshila Self-Help Group (SHG), with the support of NULM (National Urban Livelihoods Mission), took remarkable steps towards financial independence by setting up stalls at multiple prestigious locations across Delhi. These initiatives not only provided a platform to showcase their products but also strengthened the confidence and entrepreneurial spirit of the women involved. Stall at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ujwa The journey began at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ujwa, where members of Adharshila SHG displayed their homemade products such as pickles, amla candy, and other traditional items. This platform helped them: The response from visitors was encouraging, motivating the women to explore more such opportunities. Exhibition at Delhi Secretariat At the Delhi Secretariat, the SHG members received an opportunity to showcase their work in a more formal and high-visibility environment. This experience: Their products were appreciated not just for quality but also for the story of resilience behind them. Flower Festival at Connaught Place The participation in the Flower Festival at Connaught Place brought vibrant energy and large footfall. It proved to be a major milestone for Adharshila SHG. Key highlights: This event significantly boosted the morale and income of the SHG members.
