On 9th December 2023, on the eve of the death anniversary of Late Shri Yashpal Bhatia, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) organized a meaningful Sankalp Diwas, dedicated to service, compassion, and community welfare. The day was marked by multiple impactful activities including a health camp, CPR training, blanket distribution, and food seva, touching the lives of many. Health Camp for Community Well-being In collaboration with G D Goenka Academy, a free health camp was organized for the community. The camp provided essential screenings such as: This initiative helped in early detection and awareness of health conditions, encouraging people to take timely care of their well-being. Life-Saving Skills: CPR Training A special CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) training session was conducted to equip participants with life-saving skills.Attendees learned how to respond in emergency situations, making them more confident and prepared to help others in need. Warmth & Care: Blanket Distribution To support those facing harsh winter conditions, 50 blankets were distributed to daily wage workers.This small gesture brought warmth, comfort, and a sense of care to those who need it the most. Food Distribution: Spreading Nourishment & Smiles The program also included food distribution, ensuring that everyone present received a wholesome meal. The act of sharing food symbolized unity, kindness, and the true spirit of seva. From bustling malls to corporate spaces and iconic marketplaces, the journey was filled with learning, exposure, and success. Adharshila SHG set up stalls at: Spreading Festive Cheer at Vegas Mall At Vegas Mall, the festive crowd and vibrant atmosphere provided a perfect platform for SHG members to connect with a wide range of customers. Their handmade products, including pickles, amla candy, and festive items, attracted attention and appreciation. This experience helped them: Corporate Exposure at Birlasoft, Noida The stall at Birlasoft, Noida offered a unique opportunity to interact with corporate employees. The products were well-received, and the initiative was appreciated for supporting grassroots women entrepreneurs. This platform enabled: Vibrant Participation at Connaught Place The Diwali mela at Connaught Place (CP) was a major highlight, with heavy footfall and festive enthusiasm. The prime location helped maximize visibility and sales, making it a rewarding experience for the SHG members. The response from visitors was overwhelming, boosting both morale and income. The event provided a dynamic platform for youth and community groups to showcase their skills, enthusiasm, and entrepreneurial spirit. Youth प्रतिभा on Display One of the highlights of the event was the energetic participation of 20 students who represented YSS in a dance performance. Their enthusiasm, coordination, and confidence lit up the मंच, earning appreciation from the audience and organizers alike. The performance not only showcased their talent but also reflected the impact of continuous guidance and opportunities provided to them.
