Empowering Democracy at the Grassroots: Voter Awareness Campaign in Vani Vihar (2 March 2024) On 2nd March 2024, a vibrant Voter Awareness Campaign was organized at Vani Vihar Park, aiming to strengthen democratic participation and inspire responsible citizenship. The initiative was conducted with the support of the Government of Delhi and in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan. जागरूकता से सशक्त लोकतंत्र The campaign focused on educating community members about the importance of voting as a fundamental right and responsibility. Through engaging activities and direct interaction, participants were encouraged to: Community Participation at Its Best Residents of Vani Vihar, including youth and first-time voters, actively joined the campaign. Volunteers and organizers created an energetic environment through:  Role of Youth in Nation Building With the support of NYKS, the campaign strongly highlighted the role of youth as change-makers in democracy. Young participants were motivated to not only vote but also spread awareness among peers and family members. Empowering Communities Through Awareness: Outreach Programs in Anganwadis (Jan–Feb 2024) From January to February 2024, a series of impactful awareness sessions were conducted across anganwadis in Shiv Vihar, Vikas Nagar, Bharthal Village, Nawada Village, and Vani Vihar—reaching women, adolescents, and young girls with essential knowledge and resources for a healthier and more empowered life.  Menstrual Hygiene & Dignity One of the core focuses of the initiative was raising awareness about menstrual hygiene. Through open discussions and interactive sessions: These efforts helped normalize conversations and promote dignity and confidence among young girls and women.  Nutrition for Better Living The sessions also emphasized the importance of balanced nutrition: Participants gained practical knowledge to improve their daily diets and health outcomes. Digital Literacy & SHG Formation Recognizing the importance of digital inclusion, participants were introduced to: Women were encouraged to come together, save collectively, and explore livelihood opportunities—paving the way for financial independence. Celebrating Handmade Excellence The Adharshila SHG stall displayed a beautiful range of handcrafted and homemade products, each telling a story of skill, sustainability, and dedication. Visitors were especially drawn to: Each product reflected not only creativity but also a commitment to quality and local craftsmanship. Creating Impact Beyond Sales This stall was more than just a marketplace—it was a step toward economic empowerment.
