On 30th December 2025, Yash Sewa Samiti successfully organized a “Screen and Save” – Free Health Screening Camp for Cancer under its healthcare initiative “Arogya Kawach.” The camp was conducted in association with Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre, aiming to promote early detection and awareness about cancer. The initiative focused on making essential health services accessible to the community, especially for those who may not have regular access to medical check-ups. Experienced medical professionals conducted screenings and provided guidance, helping individuals understand the importance of timely diagnosis and preventive care. The camp saw active participation from community members, who benefited from free screenings, expert consultations, and valuable health advice. Alongside screening, awareness was also spread about lifestyle choices, early symptoms, and the need for regular health check-ups. On 9th December 2025, Yash Sewa Samiti organized a heartfelt food drive (Bhandara) on the eve of the death anniversary of Shri Yashpal Bhatia Ji at New Krishna Park, Vikaspuri. The event was conducted with deep respect and remembrance, honoring his legacy of compassion and service to society. Members and volunteers of Yash Sewa Samiti came together to serve freshly prepared meals to the community. The initiative witnessed the distribution of food to around 500 people, spreading warmth, care, and a sense of togetherness among all present. The Bhandara was not just about providing meals, but also about sharing kindness and remembering the values that Shri Yashpal Bhatia Ji stood for—generosity, humility, and dedication to helping others. Cleanliness Drive by Yash Sewa Samiti in Collaboration with NSS NSUT Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS), in collaboration with the NSS Cell of Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), successfully organized a cleanliness drive near Uttam Nagar East Metro Station. The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 40 dedicated student volunteers. The drive focused on cleaning areas under and around the metro station, which often face issues of littering and improper waste disposal. With great energy and commitment, the volunteers collected waste, cleared the surroundings, and worked together to restore cleanliness in the area. Beyond cleaning, the team also took an important step towards awareness. Volunteers actively engaged with local rehdiwalas (street vendors), guiding and encouraging them to keep dustbins at their stalls and avoid throwing waste here and there. This interaction aimed to bring about long-term behavioral change and promote responsible waste management practices. On 24th October 2025, a heartwarming celebration took place at our NGO as little Vamika turned 3 years old. What made this occasion truly special was the beautiful gesture by her parents, who chose to celebrate her birthday with the children of the Adharshila Bachpan Club. The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and happiness as Vamika and the children enjoyed the celebration together. Adding a meaningful touch to the occasion, her parents distributed water bottles to all the children along with refreshments. This thoughtful act not only brought joy to the kids but also promoted the importance of sharing and caring for others. Moments like these create lasting memories and teach valuable lessons of kindness, empathy, and social responsibility from a very young age. Celebrating birthdays in this way turns a personal milestone into a collective joy, spreading happiness among many. From 9th October to 11th October 2025, Adharshila Self Help Group (SHG) proudly participated in the Swadeshi Utsav आयोजित at India Gate lawns, organized by DSIIDC. This vibrant event provided a wonderful platform to promote locally made, eco-friendly, and sustainable products under the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Adharshila SHG showcased a beautiful collection of cotton cloth handmade items, including slings, bags, purses, pouches, scrunchies, and more. Each product reflected creativity, dedication, and the spirit of self-reliance nurtured among the women of the group. The stall attracted a large number of visitors who appreciated the quality, design, and sustainability of the products. It was not only an opportunity for sales but also a moment of pride for the artisans to represent their skills on such a prestigious platform. Participation in events like Swadeshi Utsav strengthens the confidence of SHG members and encourages them to move forward on the path of entrepreneurship. It also spreads awareness about supporting local artisans and adopting indigenous products.
