Promoting the Gift of Life: Organ, Eye & Body Donation Awareness Drive

On 24 August 2025, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) organized an Organ, Eye, and Body Donation Awareness Drive during a Blood Donation Camp held at the Brahma Kumaris Ashram in Parampuri, Uttam Nagar, West Delhi.  Spreading Awareness for Humanity The initiative aimed to educate people about the importance of organ, eye, and body donation, encouraging them to pledge and contribute toward saving and improving lives. Volunteers interacted with visitors and donors, explaining how a single donor can help multiple people regain life and vision.  Collaboration for a Noble Cause The awareness drive was conducted alongside the blood donation camp organized by the Brahma Kumaris, bringing together community members who were already committed to the spirit of service and humanity.  Inspiring People to Pledge Participants were encouraged to take a pledge for donation, understanding that even after life, one can continue to serve society by giving the gift of life, sight, and knowledge for medical research.YSS received 22 pledged forms in this drive Impact at a Glance The greatest legacy one can leave behind is the gift of life and hope for others. #YashSewaSamiti #OrganDonation #EyeDonation #BodyDonation #GiftOfLife #BloodDonationCamp #BrahmaKumaris #CommunityAwareness #UttamNagar #ServeHumanity

Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam: Plantation Drive for a Greener Tomorrow

In a remarkable effort to promote environmental awareness and community participation, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) organized a plantation drive under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign at MCP School Bindapur and in the Najafgarh area. The initiative brought together students, youth volunteers, and community members to plant trees and spread the message of environmental responsibility.  Collective Effort for the Environment The event was organized in collaboration with the Eco Club of MCP School and volunteers from Netaji Subhas University of Technology. Participants actively took part in planting saplings and distributing medicinal plants to encourage people to nurture greenery around their homes. Sarita Bhatia, who is also the Coordinator of Adharshila Yuva Mandal, participated in the event along with several youth volunteers, motivating students and visitors to contribute to environmental protection.  Awareness on Government Initiatives A workshop on flagship schemes and the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign was also conducted during the event, helping participants understand the importance of sustainable practices and community involvement. The event was graced by Anjali Chaudhary, who invited Youth Clubs and other dignitaries to support and participate in the campaign. Promoting Hygiene Habits: Handwash Awareness Activity at MCD School, Bindapur 9 July,2025

On 9th July, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) organized a Handwash Awareness Activity at MCD School, Bindapur to promote healthy hygiene habits among students. The initiative reached 650+ children, making it a powerful step toward building a healthier school environment. Learning the Importance of Hand Hygiene Through interactive demonstrations and discussions, children were taught: The activity was engaging and practical, allowing children to practice the steps and understand the importance of cleanliness. Building Healthy Habits Early Encouraging hygiene awareness at a young age helps children develop lifelong healthy habits. The session empowered students to become health ambassadors, spreading the message of cleanliness among their families and friends. Empowering Women Through Skills: Beauty Assistant Course Inaugurated under Project SABLA

Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) took another significant step toward women empowerment by inaugurating a Beauty Assistant Course at the YSS Centre under Project SABLA. Digital Chaupal: Empowering Women Through Mobile Literacy (7–11 July) From 7th to 11th July, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) organized a Digital Chaupal for women, helping them understand and confidently use mobile technology in their daily lives. The sessions were conducted with the enthusiastic support of volunteers from Netaji Subhas University of Technology who were doing their internship with the NGO.  Learning the Power of Mobile Technology The training focused on basic yet essential digital skills, enabling women to: The sessions were interactive, allowing participants to practice and ask questions freely.  Youth Supporting Community Learning The NSUT interns played an important role in guiding and mentoring the participants patiently, making technology easier and more accessible for women who were new to smartphones. Break the Cycle: Say NO to Drugs, Say YES to Life On the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) joined hands with volunteers from Netaji Subhas University of Technology to organize a powerful awareness walk against drug abuse. Children from the Adharshila Bachpan Club of YSS actively participated in the walk, raising their voices with strong messages like “Break the Cycle – Stop Organized Crime” and “Say NO to Drugs, Say YES to Life.” Youth & Children Leading the Change The walk aimed to educate communities about the harmful effects of drugs and encourage young people to make positive life choices. International Yoga Day Celebration: One Earth, One Health

The spirit of wellness and harmony came alive as Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) joined hands with the Vani Vihar Yoga Group to celebrate International Yoga Day at Utsav Garden.  Yoga for Body, Mind & Planet Participants gathered early in the morning to practice various yoga asanas and pranayama, promoting physical fitness, mental peace, and overall well-being. The session emphasized this year’s powerful message: “One Earth, One Health.”  Connecting Personal Health with Planetary Health The celebration highlighted an important idea—our health and the health of our planet are deeply connected. When we take care of nature, we also protect our own well-being. Yoga teaches balance, discipline, and harmony with the environment.
