On 9th August, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) proudly organized the “Meri Maati Mera Desh – Veeron ko Vandan” program at Vani Vihar, in association with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. This meaningful initiative beautifully combined patriotism with environmental responsibility, paying tribute to our heroes while nurturing the earth.
Honouring Our Heroes with a Green Tribute
The event was dedicated to “Veeron ko Vandan”—a heartfelt salute to the brave souls who have contributed to the nation. Instead of just words, the tribute was expressed through action, symbolizing life, growth, and sustainability.
Plantation Drive & Distribution
A major highlight of the program was the plantation drive, where:
- 75 plants were planted as a mark of respect and commitment
- Numerous saplings were distributed among community members
Participants, including youth, children, and residents, actively took part, making the initiative both impactful and engaging.
