A Joyful Birthday Celebration with a Purpose – 24 October 2025

On 24th October 2025, a heartwarming celebration took place at our NGO as little Vamika turned 3 years old. What made this occasion truly special was the beautiful gesture by her parents, who chose to celebrate her birthday with the children of the Adharshila Bachpan Club. The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and happiness as Vamika and the children enjoyed the celebration together. Adding a meaningful touch to the occasion, her parents distributed water bottles to all the children along with refreshments. This thoughtful act not only brought joy to the kids but also promoted the importance of sharing and caring for others. Moments like these create lasting memories and teach valuable lessons of kindness, empathy, and social responsibility from a very young age. Celebrating birthdays in this way turns a personal milestone into a collective joy, spreading happiness among many. We sincerely appreciate this noble initiative by Vamika’s parents and wish the little one a future filled with love, health, and happiness. Such celebrations truly reflect the spirit of giving and community bonding.

Adharshila SHG Showcases Handmade Excellence at Swadeshi Utsav (9–11 October 2025)

From 9th October to 11th October 2025, Adharshila Self Help Group (SHG) proudly participated in the Swadeshi Utsav आयोजित at India Gate lawns, organized by DSIIDC. This vibrant event provided a wonderful platform to promote locally made, eco-friendly, and sustainable products under the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Adharshila SHG showcased a beautiful collection of cotton cloth handmade items, including slings, bags, purses, pouches, scrunchies, and more. Each product reflected creativity, dedication, and the spirit of self-reliance nurtured among the women of the group. The stall attracted a large number of visitors who appreciated the quality, design, and sustainability of the products. It was not only an opportunity for sales but also a moment of pride for the artisans to represent their skills on such a prestigious platform. Participation in events like Swadeshi Utsav strengthens the confidence of SHG members and encourages them to move forward on the path of entrepreneurship. It also spreads awareness about supporting local artisans and adopting indigenous products. Adharshila SHG continues to take meaningful steps towards empowering women and contributing to the vision of a self-reliant India — “Atmanirbhar Bharat ki ore.”

Service Through Care: Health Camp on the Eve of Sewa Pakhwada (26 September)

On 26th September, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) organized a comprehensive Health Camp and Blood Donation Drive on the occasion of Sewa Pakhwada—promoting the spirit of service, care, and community well-being.  Health Screening for All In collaboration with Bhagat Chandra Hospital, the camp offered essential health check-ups to the community, including:  Blood Donation: A Gift of Life Alongside the health camp, a blood donation drive was conducted with support from Lifeline Blood Bank. Promoting the Gift of Life: Organ, Eye & Body Donation Awareness Drive

On 24 August 2025, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) organized an Organ, Eye, and Body Donation Awareness Drive during a Blood Donation Camp held at the Brahma Kumaris Ashram in Parampuri, Uttam Nagar, West Delhi.  Spreading Awareness for Humanity The initiative aimed to educate people about the importance of organ, eye, and body donation, encouraging them to pledge and contribute toward saving and improving lives. Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam: Plantation Drive for a Greener Tomorrow

In a remarkable effort to promote environmental awareness and community participation, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) organized a plantation drive under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign at MCP School Bindapur and in the Najafgarh area. The initiative brought together students, youth volunteers, and community members to plant trees and spread the message of environmental responsibility.  Collective Effort for the Environment The event was organized in collaboration with the Eco Club of MCP School and volunteers from Netaji Subhas University of Technology. Participants actively took part in planting saplings and distributing medicinal plants to encourage people to nurture greenery around their homes. Sarita Bhatia, who is also the Coordinator of Adharshila Yuva Mandal, participated in the event along with several youth volunteers, motivating students and visitors to contribute to environmental protection.  Awareness on Government Initiatives A workshop on flagship schemes and the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign was also conducted during the event, helping participants understand the importance of sustainable practices and community involvement. The event was graced by Anjali Chaudhary, who invited Youth Clubs and other dignitaries to support and participate in the campaign.
