Yash Sewa Samiti Supports the Wedding of a Gubbare Wale Ki Beti

At Yash Sewa Samiti, we believe in turning kindness into action—and recently, we had the privilege of being part of a beautiful moment in someone’s life. We extended our heartfelt support in the wedding of the daughter of a balloon seller, a hardworking man who earns a humble living. Understanding the financial challenges faced by the family, our team stepped in with cash assistance, clothes, blankets, utensils, and other essential items to ensure the bride begins her new journey with dignity and joy. This small gesture from our end is a reflection of our core values—supporting the underserved during life’s most important milestones. It was heartwarming to see the smiles, gratitude, and community spirit that this act of support brought. Because every daughter deserves a beautiful wedding, no matter her background. 💖 #YashSewaSamiti #SpreadingSmiles #SupportForAll #GubbareWaleKiBeti #MarriageSupport #DignityForEveryHome #TogetherWeCan 21 July,2018

Monthly Ration Suvidha (MRS): A Lifeline of Dignity and Hope

Monthly Ration Suvidha (MRS): A Lifeline of Dignity and Hope In April 2018, Yash Sewa Samiti launched a heartfelt initiative, Monthly Ration Suvidha (MRS), inspired by a simple yet deeply moving call for help. A handicapped single woman, Neeta, reached out to us, requesting dry ration to sustain her basic needs. Her words were filled with quiet courage but also a deep sense of helplessness. That call became a call to action for us. Moved by her situation, YSS began collecting monthly ration and financial aid from well-wishers, ensuring not just support for Neeta, but for many others like her—senior citizens living alone, pregnant women without family support, and differently-abled individuals struggling to survive with dignity. Impact of the MRS Initiative: Today, MRS is more than just a ration program—it’s a symbol of compassion in action. It reminds us that even a small contribution can become someone’s lifeline. At YSS, we believe no one should suffer in silence. With the help of our generous supporters, we continue to extend this suvidha to those who need it most. Because when you feed someone with love, you don’t just fill their stomach—you nourish their soul. #MonthlyRationSuvidha #YashSewaSamiti #FoodForDignity #SupportTheNeedy #CompassionInAction #YourServiceWithSmiles #MRS April 2018

When Dignity Meets Empathy: A Pad Distribution Drive with Blind Students

At Yash Sewa Samiti, we often say that the most powerful connections are built not just through sight, but through feeling. Recently, during our sanitary pad distribution drive at the Blind Welfare Society, this belief came alive in the most touching way. As we gently handed over the sanitary napkins to the blind girl students, a moment of quiet and hesitation unfolded. Though they could not see what they were holding, their fingers explored the packets with care and curiosity. Some bowed their heads, unsure of what to say or how to react. There was no eye contact, yet there was a silent exchange of emotion—a mixture of shyness, dignity, and trust. That moment reminded us that awareness about menstrual health isn’t just about what can be seen—it’s about what is understood, felt, and internalized. These girls may have been visually impaired, but their sensitivity, their understanding, and their quiet gratitude spoke volumes. We didn’t just distribute pads—we helped break silence, foster confidence, and sow seeds of menstrual dignity. Our volunteers patiently explained what the pads were, how to use them, and why hygiene matters. Some students asked questions softly; others simply listened. By the end of the session, the hesitation had turned into soft smiles and silent acknowledgments. The Impact: More Than Just Distribution This experience has changed us as much as it supported them. We realized that menstrual awareness is not one-size-fits-all—it must be inclusive, empathetic, and deeply respectful of the needs of every individual. We thank the Blind Welfare Society for welcoming us with warmth and trust. And to the girls—thank you for teaching us that real understanding goes far beyond sight. Let’s continue to spread awareness, dignity, and care—one heart at a time. 10 April, 2018

Man ki Shuddhi , Tan ki Shuddhi

Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) organized a special program titled “Man ki Shuddhi, Tan ki Shuddhi” on the eve of Women’s Day to promote holistic well-being among women. Under “Man ki Shuddhi”, a soulful Sunderkand Paath was conducted, creating a spiritually uplifting environment that encouraged inner peace, strength, and positivity among women. As part of “Tan ki Shuddhi”, an awareness session in the form of a Sakhi Baithak was held to educate women about personal hygiene and cleanliness. The session focused on breaking taboos around menstrual health and empowering women with knowledge. Sanitary pads were distributed to all participants to promote hygienic practices and support their health needs. NGO President Sarita Bhatia encouraged all women to respectfully refer to domestic helpers not as “kaam wali bai”, but as “Sahyogi” (partner/helper), promoting dignity of labor and mutual respect. Additionally, Munish shared a powerful slogan:“Swachh Nari, Swasth Nari”(Clean Woman, Healthy Woman),highlighting the vital connection between cleanliness and women’s health. Impact The program beautifully combined spiritual growth and health awareness, celebrating womanhood in a meaningful and impactful way. For an NGO, especially one like Yash Sewa Samiti, conducting these programs on Women’s Day sends a powerful message about holistic empowerment, nurturing both the inner and outer well-being of women. It aligns with their mission of uplifting women through education, health, and self-reliance.
