On 26th December, 2019, Yash Sewa Samiti organized a free multi-specialty Health Check-Up Camp for the underprivileged community, reaffirming our commitment to holistic well-being and preventive care.
The camp brought together experienced medical professionals who offered their services with compassion and dedication. People from all age groups availed the opportunity to get screened and consult with doctors across various specializations.
Services Provided During the Camp:
- Eye Check-up: Vision screening and guidance on eye care.
- Blood Pressure & Sugar Testing: Vital for early detection of hypertension and diabetes.
- Dental Check-up: Basic dental hygiene guidance and cavity checks.
- Gynaecology Consultation: Renowned Dr. Prachi Rawat, Gynaecologist, provided personal counselling and awareness to women on menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, and nutrition.
Impact
Over 200 beneficiaries received medical support, most of whom had never undergone a formal health check-up before. Many were referred for further diagnosis and treatment, while others gained valuable awareness about managing their health proactively.
Community Response
The feedback was heartwarming. Women especially appreciated the presence of a female gynaecologist who spoke to them openly and empathetically about their health concerns. Elderly citizens welcomed the dental and sugar check-up services, which are often inaccessible due to cost.
