Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam: Plantation Drive for a Greener Tomorrow

In a remarkable effort to promote environmental awareness and community participation, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) organized a plantation drive under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign at MCP School Bindapur and in the Najafgarh area. The initiative brought together students, youth volunteers, and community members to plant trees and spread the message of environmental responsibility.

 Collective Effort for the Environment

The event was organized in collaboration with the Eco Club of MCP School and volunteers from Netaji Subhas University of Technology. Participants actively took part in planting saplings and distributing medicinal plants to encourage people to nurture greenery around their homes.

Sarita Bhatia, who is also the Coordinator of Adharshila Yuva Mandal, participated in the event along with several youth volunteers, motivating students and visitors to contribute to environmental protection.

 Awareness on Government Initiatives

A workshop on flagship schemes and the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign was also conducted during the event, helping participants understand the importance of sustainable practices and community involvement.

The event was graced by Anjali Chaudhary, who invited Youth Clubs and other dignitaries to support and participate in the campaign.
