21 Days Training on Food Processing & Preservation Techniques

Yash Sewa Samiti, with its commitment to women empowerment and livelihood generation, proudly facilitated the participation of its women beneficiaries in a 21 days training program on Food Processing and Food Preservation Techniques at KVK Ujwa.
Objective:
To equip women with hands-on skills and knowledge in food processing to help them start their own small businesses or self-help group-based enterprises.
Training Highlights:
Participants received detailed practical and theoretical knowledge on:
- ✅ Pickle Making
- ✅ Murabba (fruit preserve) Preparation
- ✅ Chutney and Sauce Making
- ✅ Candy Making from Fruits
- ✅ Food Preservation Techniques
- ✅ Packaging & Shelf-life Management
- ✅ Basic Hygiene, Labelling & Marketing Tips
Impact:
- Over 15 women from YSS participated and successfully completed the course
- Several of them initiated homemade pickles and chutney businesses post-training
- Many women joined Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and began producing for local markets
