Legal Awareness Camp & Blanket Distribution – Empowering with Knowledge and Care
On a meaningful and impactful day, Yash Sewa Samiti successfully organized a Legal Awareness Camp in collaboration with Advocate Jitender Kumar Dhingra and his team, followed by the distribution of warm blankets to the needy—an initiative that combined both empowerment and empathy.
Legal Awareness Camp: Knowledge is Power
Advocate Jitender Kumar Dhingra, along with his dedicated legal team, addressed common legal issues affecting the underprivileged, including:
- Women’s rights and domestic violence laws
- Right to education and child protection
- Legal aid for senior citizens
- Labour rights and compensation
- How to approach the Legal Services Authority for free support
The session was conducted in simple, easy-to-understand language, ensuring that every attendee could relate to the topics and understand their rights. Community members were also encouraged to ask questions, many of which were answered with care and clarity.
Blanket Distribution: A Gesture of Warmth
Following the session, blankets were distributed to daily wage earners, elderly citizens, rickshaw pullers, and slum dwellers, helping them brave the harsh winter nights. The smiles on their faces were a reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

“Humne pehli baar kanooni madad itne asaan shabdon mein samjhi hai,” said one woman attendee.
“Sirf gyaan nahi mila, aaj raat sardi mein comfort bhi milega,” shared an elderly man holding his new blanket.
