On 22nd December 2021, Yash Sewa Samiti conducted a meaningful Sakhi Baithak session in Jai Vihar, Nangli Village, focusing on menstrual hygiene awareness and dignity for women.
The initiative was generously sponsored by FairGaze and Unicharm, whose support made it possible to reach and benefit women and girls in the community.
About the Session
The Sakhi Baithak created a safe and comfortable space where women openly discussed:
✔ Importance of menstrual hygiene
✔ Breaking myths and taboos around periods
✔ Safe usage and disposal of sanitary pads
✔ Maintaining personal health and hygiene
Sanitary pads were distributed to participants to ensure practical support along with awareness.
