Single-Use Plastic Awareness Program | 14 November, 2021

On 14th Nov. 2021, Yash Sewa Samiti organized a Single-Use Plastic Awareness Program with active participation from children and women of the community.

The initiative aimed to educate society about the harmful effects of plastic pollution and encourage responsible environmental practices.

As part of the program:

♻ Children and women conducted an awareness rally in the local area.
🧤 Participants collected single-use plastic waste from nearby streets and open spaces.
📢 They spread a strong message about reducing, reusing, and recycling plastic.

🌍 The Impact

🔹 Increased awareness about the dangers of single-use plastic.
🔹 Encouraged community members to adopt eco-friendly alternatives.
🔹 Instilled environmental responsibility in children from a young age.
🔹 Promoted collective action towards cleaner surroundings.

The sight of young children and women cleaning their own surroundings sent a powerful message — change begins with us. Their efforts inspired many residents to rethink their daily plastic usage habits.

This initiative was not just about cleaning an area; it was about building environmental consciousness and empowering the community to take ownership of their surroundings.

At Yash Sewa Samiti, we believe that small responsible actions today can lead to a sustainable tomorrow.

💚 Let’s say NO to single-use plastic and YES to a cleaner, greener future.
