Education is every child’s right, and a little support can go a long way in encouraging them to pursue it with confidence. On 15th July 2019, Yash Sewa Samiti reached out to children from single-parent households studying in the MCD School, Old Uttam Nagar, by distributing 30+ new school bags.
This thoughtful initiative aimed to reduce the burden on struggling families while bringing joy to young learners.
What We Did:
- 30+ school bags packed with love were distributed to children who have lost a parent or live with single guardians.
- Each child received the bag with a smile, a blessing, and encouragement to continue their studies with determination.
- The distribution took place in coordination with school staff, ensuring the most deserving children were supported.
