Continuing its mission to spread awareness about safe road practices, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS), in collaboration with Yug Sanskriti Nyas, organized a Road Safety Drawing Competition at SKV No. 1 Uttam Nagar and CM Shree School Uttam Nagar under Project Chetna. The initiative aimed to educate students about the importance of road safety in a creative and engaging manner. Young Minds, Powerful Messages A total of 168 students enthusiastically participated in the activity, expressing meaningful road safety messages through colourful drawings and creative ideas. Drawing sheets and colours were provided to encourage active participation and imagination. With the aim of promoting health awareness and dignity among women and adolescent girls, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS) organized “Sakhi Baithak” — a meaningful initiative focused on educating and empowering participants through awareness sessions and interactive workshops. Under Yash Sewa Samiti’s ongoing efforts towards community well-being and awareness, the sessions addressed important topics related to: Menstrual Hygiene AwarenessHealth & NutritionPersonal Hygiene & Self-careImportance of Healthy Lifestyle Practices The initiative created a safe and comfortable space where adolescent girls and women could openly discuss their concerns, ask questions, and gain accurate information about health and hygiene. Promoting Dignity & Care As part of the program, sanitary napkins were distributed among the participants to encourage proper menstrual hygiene practices and break the stigma surrounding menstruation. The sessions emphasized that awareness and access to hygiene products are essential steps toward ensuring the health, confidence, and dignity of women and girls. In an inspiring initiative to promote road safety awareness among students, Yash Sewa Samiti (YSS), in collaboration with Yug Sanskriti Nyas, organized a Drawing, Jingle Singing, and Slogan Writing Competition at SKV No. 1 Janakpuri and SKV No. 2 C Block Janakpuri on the important theme of Road Safety. Creativity with a Purpose The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 154 students, including 101 girls and 53 boys, who showcased their creativity and understanding of traffic rules and safe road practices through colorful drawings, meaningful slogans, and engaging jingles. To encourage free expression and participation, drawing sheets and colours were provided to all students. The young participants beautifully conveyed powerful messages about: Learning Beyond the Classroom The competition successfully transformed awareness into an enjoyable learning experience.
