As part of the “Surakshit Safar” Road Safety Competition 2026, Yash Sewa Samiti, in collaboration with Yug Sanskriti Nyas, organised a prize and certificate distribution ceremony to recognise students for their creativity and participation in promoting road safety awareness. Smt. Sarita Bhatia, Founder and President, Yash Sewa Samiti, distributed prize cheques of ₹5,000 each to Aysha from CM Shri School and Kashish from SKV Uttam Nagar, who emerged as the winners of the competition. From 4th to 10th September, Yash Sewa Samiti participated in a vibrant cultural programme held at the CCRT Ground, Sector 7, Dwarka, by putting up an MSME stall featuring products by Leena. The week-long programme brought together a wonderful blend of culture, creativity and entrepreneurship. The venue came alive with cultural performances based on the life and teachings of Shri Krishna, with several academies showcasing the talent and dedication of their students through music, dance and other performances. In a gesture of solidarity and community support, Yash Sewa Samiti extended assistance to flood-affected families in Assam during a difficult time. A team from Yash Sewa Samiti visited Arpan Kendra, Dwarka, where they were introduced to an innovative approach towards textile waste management and environmental sustainability. During the visit, the team learned how responsible management and reuse of discarded clothes can help reduce the amount of textile waste reaching landfills. By extending the life of clothes through reuse, recycling and appropriate recovery, valuable resources can be conserved while reducing the pressure on limited landfill space. The visit highlighted an important environmental message: what we consider waste can often be given a new purpose. Yash Sewa Samiti facilitated a visit of Adharshila SHG members to the Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav, organised with support from the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME). The visit provided SHG members an opportunity to explore a diverse range of businesses, products, and entrepreneurial ideas. Interacting with MSMEs and observing different enterprises helped the women gain exposure to new possibilities, products, markets, and business practices. Such exposure visits encourage women entrepreneurs to think beyond their existing ventures, learn from successful enterprises, and explore opportunities for business growth and market linkages. Baseline Survey of Buddhi Money Didis Yash Sewa Samiti conducted a Baseline Survey of the BuddhiMoney Didis to better understand their needs, experiences, challenges, and aspirations as women entrepreneurs.
