Empowering Women Entrepreneurs Through a Rakhi Festival Stall

On the occasion of the Rakhi festival, Yash Sewa Samiti and Yug Sanskriti Nyas jointly supported an SHG women’s stall at DLF Moti Nagar, creating an opportunity for women entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their products. The festive occasion provided the SHG members with a platform to interact directly with customers, display their products and gain practical experience in sales, customer engagement and market exposure. For women-led Self-Help Groups, such opportunities are an important step towards strengthening confidence and encouraging them to take their small businesses forward. Participating in a public marketplace also helps women understand customer preferences and gain valuable experience in presenting and promoting their products. Creating Opportunities for Women The initiative reflected the spirit of Vocal for Local by encouraging people to explore products made and sold by local women entrepreneurs. Festivals provide a natural platform for connecting these products with customers while supporting women’s livelihoods. Impact Created Yash Sewa Samiti remains committed to creating opportunities that help women learn, earn, build confidence and move towards greater self-reliance. When women get a platform, their potential gets a marketplace. #YashSewaSamiti #WomenEmpowerment #SHGWomen #WomenEntrepreneurs #RakhiFestival #VocalForLocal #WomenLedBusiness #LivelihoodDevelopment #YugSanskritiNyas #CommunityImpact 9 August, 2026
